Before I received this product, I had a conversation with a hairdresser friend of mine about trying a glaze for my hair. My naturally thick, curly locks were starting to look a little dull and dry, and I needed something to boost my shine.   I had never looked into hair glaze, since I always assumed that it was specifically designated for chemically treated or processed hair – neither of which I have. All of those assumptions were put to rest once I came across the Oscar Blandi At Home Salon Glaze.

The first time I used the at home glaze, I instantly noticed a difference.  It not only gave me incredible shine, but it actually brightened my natural hair color – I could only imagine how great it would be for color-treated hair! One of the biggest surprises was the simplicity of the ingredients.  The At Home Salon Glaze uses olive oil and macadamia oil to moisturize and bring out your natural brilliance, as well as protective sun inhibitors and Vitamin E to give your hair the extra anti-oxidant love it deserves.

Right now you’re asking does it actually work? Yes beauties, it does! I followed the directions to a T, which didn’t take much effort…it was so easy!  I was happy to find that it wasn’t like some of those other hair masks that require you to leave it in for 30 minutes to an hour.  Instead, the Oscar Blandi Glaze is applied in the shower after shampooing and conditioning your hair.  After combing the glaze through your hair, you leave it in for less than 5 minutes before rinsing.

5 MINUTES IS ALL IT TAKES TO ACHIEVE BEAUTIFUL HAIR!

The second time around I became a bit of a rebel, combining my favorite conditioner with the At Home Salon Glaze.  I raked my fingers through my hair to control the glaze and conditioner in my hair, left it in for 5 minutes and rinsed. The smell is soft and not powerful, and actually enhances the smell of whatever you are already using. And the texture is well…..how should I put it – glossy, yet not sticky. I almost forgot to tell you that my hair much, much, much softer than usual after using the glaze, making it not only a shine inducer but deep conditioner as well.

Now to be honest, I did not see a difference right away, so I was a little worried that the glaze did not penetrate my thick hair. But NO FEAR BEAUTIES!  The very next day, my friend noticed my hair was shinier than ever! Score! I am definitely recommending the Oscar At Home Salon Glaze to all of my favorite beauty junkies.
