The story behind Skin 2 Skin is a heartwarming one. Ken Simpson, Skin 2 Skin’s CEO, president and founder, took a difficult situation and turned it into a positive, life-changing opportunity.

In November 2005, Ken was diagnosed with a brain tumor. In February 2006, he began a grueling five-days-a-week radiation treatment schedule that lasted for eight weeks. Remarkably, the combination of radiation and drugs helped Ken overcome his tumor. Unfortunately, the side effects of his treatment wrecked his skin. It became discolored, sore, raw, broken out, dry, sensitive and showed signs of accelerated aging.

Ken decided to put his twenty years of experience working in the skincare industry to good use. Six weeks into his treatment, he formulated the very first Skin 2 Skin product. The Aging Intervention Cream was created in Ken’s home and transformed his skin after one week! After two weeks of using his new potion, his skin was healthier, and its natural glow had returned. It was as if all of the damage had been reversed.

The success of his first product inspired him to create an entire line that would address the skincare concerns of both women and men. Skin 2 Skin, according to its website, is “a line formulated from sustainable natural, certified organic ingredients with peptide technology and effectiveness, making it results driven.”

I have to admit when I received this assignment from Beauty Collection, I had never heard of the Skin 2 Skin brand. After researching the website, curiosity set in and I was so excited to review these products! Guess what? After completing my review, I am thrilled with my results and now know that everything I read about the products was 100% accurate. Let’s talk about how amazing my experience was, shall we?

I received four Skin 2 Skin products to take for a test drive. With the exception of facial cleanser, these are the only four products I used on my skin for three weeks.

Revitalizing Eye Gel

This soothing eye gel was formulated to deliver oxygen to the tissue, instantly reducing puffiness while tightening the skin. The Regu-Age peptide decreases dark circles up to 35% and puffiness up to 32%.

The claims sounded great to me, and even though I love eye treatments and use them daily, I have never used one that made me think, “Yup. That did what it said it would. It worked!” So I started off thinking that this eye gel would let me down, just like the others. I used the Revitalizing Eye Gel in the morning and at night. The texture is almost like a liquid, and it feels so soothing and cooling once applied. In three weeks, I have noticed results. While the results were not super dramatic, my dark circles have lightened, and my eye area is firmer. I look more awake and bright-eyed.

Anti-Sagging Renewal Serum

Containing powerful antioxidants, the Anti-Sagging Renewal Serum strengthens skin elasticity and reduces wrinkles. While moisturizing, the serum facilitates the production of collagen and hyaluronic acid, which improves volume. Strong peptides work hard to provide you with astonishing results within two weeks.

I found this serum to be as light as air; it applied easily and absorbed quickly. The serum’s moisturizing properties have changed my skin’s texture. My foundation and concealer have been going on so much smoother, which makes the overall look of my face flawless.

Aging Intervention Cream

If you remember from reading the Skin 2 Skin story (you read it, right?!), the Aging Intervention Cream was the game-changer that saved Ken Simpson’s skin. The emollient cream contains a universal antioxidant of 1% alpha lipoid acid, which protects against free radicals and can reduce wrinkles by 50%. It is fragranced with a beautiful essential oil blend that includes white tea, neroli, jasmine, orange, spearmint, lemon and bergamot.

First of all, this stuff smells heavenly. You feel like you are applying a spa to your face. Seriously. According to the instructions on the bottle, you are supposed to apply the cream over the serum in the morning. I followed the instructions and used this as my daytime moisturizer. The texture is rich, but it absorbs fast. It brightened my face immediately, and the instant hydration it provides is refreshing. Out of the four products I tested, I feel like this is the core product. I am addicted to this impressive miracle cream and will continue to be devoted for as long as Skin 2 Skin keeps making it. (Please don’t stop!)

24/7 Rejuvenation (All-in-One Cream)

24/7 Rejuvenation was formulated for maturing skin (ages 35 and up) to prevent the signs of premature aging. This all-in-one cream promises to tighten, hydrate and brighten skin and increase collagen and hyaluronic acid production up to 33%. It also controls oil secretion, which in turn, helps control acne.

While I am not in the targeted age bracket of 35 and up, I am close enough. I am turning 31 on Sunday, and I am always down for a little age prevention. Per the instructions, I applied 24/7 Rejuvenation during my evening skincare routine. The texture and scent are very similar to the Aging Intervention Cream. It feels super-hydrating and was not heavy or greasy like so many other “night creams” I have tried. When I wake up in the morning, I look radiant and refreshed (which is a big difference from what I usually look like…a tired hag).

Okay. Seriously, beauties, I love all of these products. Not only are they totally effective and so indulgent, but they are also formulated using natural, certified organic ingredients! The pump tube packaging dispenses the perfect amount of product and will keep my potions sanitary until I use them up. Skin 2 Skin’s products absolutley transformed my skin, as you can see in my before and after pictures below. Please note the brighter skin tone and that the pimple party that was taking place on my chin packed up and left. Please disregard the overgrown eyebrows and bad hair.
