I love my straight hair, but sometimes it sure does need that extra “umph” to it. I have tried all kinds of different brands and products to get my super straight hair to achieve a curl that will last a whole night out on the town. I seriously almost wanted to give up on finding the perfect curling iron that actually did what it was suppose to do…Curl!

What first caught my attention about the Babyliss 1″ Nano was actually the color of the handle. It is a beautiful pear blue, and as you all know, I love all things shiny and shimmery. The package was also awesome because it came in a clear box so you can see everything. I love being able to see my products before opening them, in case there were any faults to it. Of course this one had none. It is also super light weight, which makes it so easy to use. You really don’t want a heavy curling iron that will give your hand cramps.

What I love most about the Babyliss 1″ Nano is that the nano titanium is a good conductor of heat and maintains stability even in very high temperatures.   The innovative Sol-Gel technology makes the barrels 37% stronger and 22% smoother than regular irons. The far-infrared heat also penetrates the hair shaft from within, without causing any damage – score!

I’ve used many curling irons that had the “on-off” button and the “dial” heat settings that only went up to a certain degree. This Babyliss 1″ Nano has a fantastic dial that has  50 heat settings and goes up to 450 degrees! It also has a turbo push button heat feature that I absolutely love, with just a little push of the button, it cranks up the heat to curl those stubborn pieces of hair. It also features an 8 foot tangle free swivel cord, which is number 2 on my list because you don’t want a tool that get’s it’s cord all tangled up, that just makes it harder to use.

This is the best curling iron that I have ever come across. I even got curl happy and curled my sister’s  hair! It produces the most beautiful spiral curls that lasted through out the night without having to put any product in your hair! I really love the feel and performance that the Babyliss 1″ Nano gives. I swear it’s the perfect light weight curling iron I have been searching for!
