Hello there Beauty Collection Beauties! My name is Kathleen N. but feel free to call me by my nickname Kit. Yup, that’s right. Just like the talking car in Knight Rider… or the candy bar. That WOULD be totally awesome if I had a best friend named Kat! Boy, I have never heard that one before. 
I am having a blast writing articles for the Beauty Collection blog and it really has been a dream come true for me. The feedback that I get from you, my sweet readers, means so much to me. And for that, I thank you.
With that said…let me tell you a little bit about myself. I am a mother of three gorgeous girls aged 8, 7 and 2. They keep my life very busy but incredibly amazing.
I am married to a wonderful man who makes me feel like the luckiest girl in the world.
I have a Pug named Buster whom I adore. During the day I work in Human Resources for the Maryland Food Bank, a non-profit organization whose goal is to improve the lives of Marylanders by ending hunger. When I am not dropping HR knowledge on employees, herding children or researching and writing my latest article for Beauty Collection, I like to spend my free time quietly. Usually with a good book or a movie with my handsome husband.
The following five facts are the most important things you need to know to truly KNOW me:
1. My favorite candy is Circus Peanuts. Orange, poufy and sugary they are peanut shaped heaven to me.
2. I think Tom Ford is not only one of the sexiest men alive (second to my husband of course) but I also think he is a GENIUS. Everything that man touches turns instantly glamorous.
3. My style icon is Jenna Lyons, the President and Creative Director of J Crew. She has amazing, unique style and wears gorgeous lipstick everyday. I mean look at the picture up there. The woman has on a striped shirt with fabulous gold sequin pants. Wow. And I mean wow in a good, take my breath away way.
4. My list of heroes includes: Jenny Lewis (musician), Mo Willems (author) and the folks who keep making Circus Peanuts.
5. I would melt like the Wicked Witch of the West if I had to go a full day without lip balm. I NEED IT! Um hello addiction.

Is it because I've never been to the Circus? I need to get my hands on one of these asap. Do they sell them at CVS? Happy Friday K!
