[Review] New RevitaLash ADVANCED

 [Review] New RevitaLash ADVANCED

Hi everyone! I may have been on a hiatus from the blog lately, but my lashes have still been going strong since my last update with you all on my Lash Rehab project!

Today, I’m going to give you the scoop on the brand new, ADVANCED formula of RevitaLash.   But first, let me fill you in on my story of when my lash obsession began… at the wee age of 11.

With every blessing in life, there is always a curse – for me it was my hair and my lashes. I was blessed with a unique color of a natural strawberry-blonde (that still to this day has never been altered besides the occasional highlight) but the lack of fullness and pigment in my lashes was to me, my curse. I was always envious of the other brunette beauties in school – looking so alive and perky, (not to mention pretty) without having to wear mascara.

UGH.

I didn’t feel pretty because I had light, fine lashes that were almost invisible to the naked eye.  My huge eyeballs didn’t make it much better, almost accentuating my biggest insecurity. And in my pre-teen years – the most hormonal and self-conscious time of your life, it was almost the end of my world.

In the next couple of years, I found myself addicted to mascara – the only way for a teenage girl to get some beauty relief.  My mother, however, was less than thrilled about it but I convinced her that I would only wear one coat, even after wiping the wand off with a tissue before hand. That technique lasted about a month before my first year into middle school where we all thought we were in 90210 – (you know… the original one) and I went full speed into full application. LOL!

And now, 20-something years later, I’m still at it.  But thanks to not being alone in the world, wonderful formulas and groundbreaking products, such as RevitaLash, have made my lash woes a long forgotten history – kind of like Brenda and Dylan’s love.

REVIEW

[Review] New RevitaLash ADVANCEDRevitaLash was introduced to me about 2 years ago, when I received a sample of it in a Fred Segal gift bag. I couldn’t care less if they gave me a bar of gold bouillon in that thing after seeing that I had the opportunity to try one of these new cosmetic breakthroughs for free!  I had seen the ads and commercials for the other brands and quite frankly, they scared me. I didn’t want to risk my eyes changing colors or any other skin irritations just for the sake of thick, long lashes. Not to mention, I didn’t want to have to see a doctor for a prescription just to get my hands on some.

Before I even opened the sample, I went on to RevitaLash’s website to read more about the product.  RevitaLash was created by ophthalmologist, Michael Brinkenhoff, M.D as a gift for his wife who was recovering from breast cancer. Chemotherapy had stolen her full lashes, replacing them with damaged and sparse strands. The doctor created a formula that would bring his wife’s lashes back to health, as her own doctors did for her. Today, the brand continues to give back to the community, supporting efforts to find a cure for breast cancer which makes my money even more well spent.

So when I was asked to review the new Revitalash ADVANCED formula for the Beauty Collection team, I was more than eager.  After all, if the original formula had already wow’d me, then the new Advanced formula must be nothing less than fabulous!

I have been using the new formula for over a month now and love it! It not only works faster than the original, but I have started to see improvements in the thickness and length of my lashes that I never saw with the first formula. With more concentrated ingredients in the new enhanced formula, you literally won’t believe you eyes!

Are you sure the Advanced Formula works better than the original? I read in other Amazon.com reviews that the advanced doesnt work at all. I just purchased Revitalash and recieved the Advanced formula instead and now I am not satisfied because I read that it doesnt work at all.

@jennifer, I don't experience with the Revitalash Original, the only one that I have tried is the Advanced. Its working great for me so far, I had a small patch of lash that wasn't growing, and now it's filled in! We could definitely set up a tester of the two if you would like?
